Bondi Pavilion - Seagull Room, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Bondi Beach

Home Grown 2019 is a concert that celebrates the wealth of musical talent in the Waverley community. Presented in conjunction with Friends of Bondi Pavilion, a fabulous night of band performances will be take place at Bondi Pavilion on Friday 29 March from 6pm.

The performing artists are:

The Distractions The Distractions formed in 2015 when a bunch of mates sat around decrying the lack of good bands to go and see in the Sydney scene. Their gigs are as much about what you want to hear as they want to play - from classic to brand new. The Distractions recreate the wonderful nights of the 80's when pub rock ruled and everyone danced until their feet could take no more!

Ella Haber Ella is a multi-lingual, multi-instrumentalist artist who deftly weaves her song writing prowess with trumpet, piano, spoken word, fresh lyricism and powerful jazz/soul. As the only woman featured on Worldwide FM’s Sydney broadcast, and having recently produced her first sold out all-femme-identifying showcase featuring musicians, visual artists, poets and DJs performance, Ella’s ease within music is breathtaking and something not to be missed. Debut EP ‘CLAY’ is out now via Soul Has No Tempo

Lion Lion is group of talented kids with a diverse cultural background (New Zealand, Dutch, Czech, Brazilian and German) and great musical influences (Chilli Peppers, Nirvana, Foo Flighters, Sticky Fingers, Skeggs, The Beatles, Tash Sultana, Courtney Barnett). Starting out playing covers at Rose Bay Secondary College, their participation in the Bondi WAVE program has developed their songwriting skills. Now their own songs have taken the band to the next level with Lion being featured on Bondi FM, Bayfest 2018 and the BLYMP 2018 concert at Bondi Beach.
